Firmware Design Engineer Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Firmware Design Engineer who excels in developing embedded software for hardware systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firmware design, particularly for microprocessors such as STM32 or Microchip microcontrollers. The role involves ensuring the seamless integration of firmware with other product components and contributing to the overall product design process.
Key Responsibilities as Firmware Design Engineer:
Designing and customising new and existing products, focusing on firmware development.
Firmware design for data logging and measurement control systems.
Designing CANBus (CAN/CANFD) and PWM control systems for aerospace lighting applications.
Assisting with electronic design as required, ensuring proper integration with firmware.
Ensuring the successful integration of firmware with the overall product design.
Producing and verifying product documentation to maintain quality and accuracy.
