Fitter's Mate - Semi-skilled Mech. Fitter

Also operating Cherry Pickers and Scissor Lifts�(Boom and Vertical)

• The ideal candidates will be at least Semi Skilled in one of the following trades / roles:� Mechanical Fitter / Rigger / Erector / Ducting, or at the very least a Skilled Labourer


• The role entails operating Scissor Lifts / Cherry Pickers / MEWPs using your existing PAL / IPAF licence to drive category 3a and 3b vehicles on clients site.


• You should be willing and able to carry out skilled labouring / semi-skilled mechanical fitting using hand and power tools to assemble components on the ground and at heights. (This is not just a plant driving role)

Duration

Ongoing temporary / contract work throughout the year which will more than likely lead to permanent employment at a later date for the right candidates. Often working away from home within a team Monday to Friday (back home for the weekends). Starting out from the client's central base near Uttoxeter each Monday morning and returning on Friday afternoon. Hotel Accommodation and breakfast is provided, pre-booked and paid for by the company.

Role

Reporting to the Site Manager / Installation Team Leader and working as part of the site team, you will be responsible for assisting with the erecting of structural steel work / steel framework including: drilling, fixing and working at heights.

Applicant

• Qualifications must include CSCS card and IPAF 3a & 3b


• You should be experienced in assembly of steelwork, rigging, erecting, steel fixing and competent at reading general arrangement drawings.

Rates

Rate = �16.00 / hour - PAYE based on an 8 hour day

or

Rate = �17.00 per hr - CIS/UTR/Umbrella�based on an 8 hour day
