We are working with a fit-out contractor to recruit an experienced Fleet & Vehicle Manager to join their team based in Ivybridge. The fleet will include company cars, pool cars, vans and lorries.

If you have a passion for fleet management, an understanding of vehicle maintenance, and a pro-active attitude to be part of an ever expanding company, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and ensure the fleet operate efficiently, safely and within budget.


• Schedule vehicle inspections and any necessary repairs and services (MOTs).


• Ensure all fleet activities comply with industry standards and regulations.


• Budget management and fleet reporting, keep accurate records regarding vehicle fleet operations.


• Build and maintain good working relationships with external service providers, such as fuel suppliers and maintenance contractors.


• Regulatory compliance management.

Suitable candidates:

• All applicants must hold a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Transport Management.


• Must have previous experience in a fleet management role.


• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unpredictable situations such as vehicle breakdowns or compliance issues.


• Must have a sound understanding of the transportation industry and trends affecting fleet management.
