Fleet Supervisor

My clients team is expanding, and I am searching for a Fleet Vehicle Supervisor based in Ashington. Must be able to drive due to the clients location.

The Role:�Fleet Supervisor

The Hours:�Monday - Friday 07:00 - 17:00�

Location:�Ashington

Salary:��45,000 plus bonus

Job role

• Organise and streamline vehicle workshop with a hands-on approach


• Maintain a safe and clean working environment


• Organise fleet vehicle and trailer service, repairs and preventative maintenance to reduce vehicle downtime and reduce parts spend (for in-house repairs and external repairers)


• Enter all vehicle repairs and workshop activities into our fleet software


• Control Vehicle Workshop spend and ensure accurate parts supply


• Raising orders on fleet software, receipting in and controlling a small stock of essential parts


• Assist in putting new assets into the fleet


• Assist in preparing and advertising used assets for sale

Candidate requirements:

• Experienced GNVQ Level 3 Vehicle Mechanic


• Workshop foreman or supervisor experience


• Strong management skills


• Excellent communication skills


• Adaptable


• Computer literate (Syrinx CRM and Fleet Software)


• Driving licence�


• Keen attention to detail
