Role - Fleet Workshop Assistant

Pay - �15.00 Per hour Umbrella Ltd

Hours - 37 per week

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Workshop Assistant for a Local Authority they are working with in North Wales employed on a temporary basis.
As a Workshop Assistant, we are seeking a candidate who has experience of working in a garage or has similar workplace knowledge.
The key duties will include;

• Cleaning and ensuring the upkeep of the the fleet workshop
• Ensuring the vehicles which arrive to the workshop are maintained
• Keeping the stores clean
• Delivering of vehicles and collection where required
• Making sure the equipment in the workshop are maintained and stored safely
• Washing down all vehicles for service and inspection using a variety of methods
• Undertaking training as necessary to support in carrying out tasks

We are seeking a candidate who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
You will be able to lead by example with a positive behaviour and flexible approach to work where you can work outside of normal working hours.
Key requirements;

• Hold a Full Driving License with a Category C License
• Valid CPC Driving Card
• Experience in Cleaning and Warehousing
• Understanding of Health and Safety Practices
