On behalf of our client school, Tradewind is seeking an outstanding Year 2 teacher with a passion for exceptional teaching and nurturing pupil growth.
We're looking for a teacher who:
- Excels in the classroom with a track record of outstanding teaching, particularly in Key Stage 1.
- Understands early childhood development and has expertise in phonics instruction.
- Adapts lessons to cater to the diverse needs of all students.
- Collaborates effectively, working seamlessly with support staff to enhance learning.
- Believes in hands-on learning and sets high expectations for both themselves and their students.
- Leads by example in teaching excellence and professionalism within our school and across partner schools.
- Brings energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to their teaching practices.

Start Date: February 2025
Role: Year 2 Teacher (Full-time, maternity cover)
Pay: £120-£190 per day, depending on experience
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong references demonstrating experience in KS1, ideally in a Year 2 class.
- A detailed CV covering full employment history, with explanations for any gaps.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
