FLT Counterbalance and Reach Driver

We are recruiting for FLT Drivers with valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance licence issued by ITSSAR or RTITB.

£12.12 basic, £18.18 overtime per hour

Leeds, LS10 1DR

Previous FLT experience required

15:00-23:00 – Monday to Friday

Temporary to permanent after 12 weeks

Kingdom People are recruiting for FLT Drivers to work at one of our client’s sites in Leeds (LS10 1DR). The customer is a leading salad and sauce manufacturer. The role will involve working in chilled environment.

The role:

FLT Driver will be expected to do the following tasks (list is not exhaustive):

Safely operate a forklift to transport raw materials, ingredients, finished products, and packaging materials within the warehouse, production floor, or storage areas

Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that the goods are stored in the correct locations

Maintain a clean and tidy working environment, including regular cleaning of the forklift and the areas it operates in

Assist the production team in moving large batches of ingredients or finished products as required

Following site rules and procedures 

Filling in paperwork if required

Quality control of products 

Reporting issues to team leader

Manual handling will be required

Requirements:

FLT Reach and Counterbalance Driver ideally need to fulfill the following requirements:

Valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance Licence issued by ITSSAR or RTITB

Be able to work 8 or 12 hr shift

Previous FLT experience is required

Being able to commute to Leeds, LS10 1DR (public transport available)

Basic communication in English (written and spoken)

Positive attitude and willingness to learn
