Flt Driver

CDM are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver with stores experience for work in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

You must hold a valid B1 Counterbalance certificate or card.

As an FLT/ Stores person you will have the following duties:

• Goods In/ Goods Out


• Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles


• Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility


• Checking loads are secure


• Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance


• Following written instructions and keeping records (delivery notes)


• Adhering to health and safety regulations


• Assisting with physical stock counts of material on site or in the storage facility


• Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately.


• Supporting other areas of the logistics team where necessary


• Job would also be unloading trailers; moving materials, helping sort and count materials.

You will work on continental pattern of days and nights, which are 12hrs, but the shift pattern does not involve working weekends.

OT1:£25.25ph

OT2:£33.66ph

OT3:£50.49ph

Overtime is generously paid at either time and a half and double time, with bank holidays paid at treble time

Work is long term with an immediate start available.
