FLT Operator / Warehouse Operative

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for a Warehouse Operative who is also a FLT Fork Lift Truck Driver / Forklift Truck Operative to join their team. This is an ongoing, rolling temporary contract to cover the Summer (end date to be confirmed).

• You have experience of using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck


• You have an in-date FLT License


• You have warehouse experience


• You MUST drive and have your own transport (due to the company location)

This role will suit someone with previous experience as a FLT / Forklift Truck Operator, Distribution Operative, Logistics Operator, Yard Operative, Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant / Stores Operative that has extensive, and recent experience of operating a Counterbalance FLT.

Salary is �13.06 per hour.

Hours of work: Rotating weekly shift pattern - Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 4:00pm and 8:00am to 6:00pm.

The main duties and responsibilities within the role are to:

• Carry out general warehouse duties as requested by management


• Drive a FLT to move and transport products in a highly accurate and efficient manner


• Undertake other general distribution activities as required


• Work safely in a busy distribution environment, with your own and others safety of primary importance

Requirements:

• You must possess an in-date Counterbalance FLT licence


• Recent experience as a Forklift Truck Driver


• Warehouse / Stores experience


• Candidates need to be highly efficient and accurate with a good eye for detail


• Previous experience within a heavy production / manufacturing environment would be an advantage
