FLT/ Stores Operative

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts (Counterbalance) to move products safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries from trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Transport materials to different locations within the warehouse or yard as required.
• Stack and store goods in appropriate areas according to company protocols.
• Perform regular checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of product movement, inventory, and deliveries.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure all health and safety regulations are met.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including stock checks and maintaining a clean working environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Forklift Truck license
• Proven experience as a Forklift Truck Driver in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and basic inventory control.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
