FLT Warehouse Operative / Van Driver

Kenect Recruitment are please to be recruiting a Warehouse Operatives/ Van driver for our client based in Worcester. Our Client is a well known distribution company. This is a temp to perm role moving permanently after 6 weeks. The ideal candidate must have FLT experience. If your current certificate is out of date then my client will be happy to put you through a refresher course but you must be able use a FLT as at times you will be required to load a van on your own.

*All Candidates must have a British or Dual British Passport*

Must have lived in the UK for the past 5- years.

Regular Drug and Alcohol tests carried out on site.

Responsibilities:
- Perform picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle materials and products with care to prevent damage or loss
- Utilize a warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Stock shelves and ensure proper labeling of products

Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 20KG on a regular basis
- Experience in warehouse operations preferred but not required
- Proficient in using a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Must have a British or Dual British Passport otherwise you will not pass security clearance.

- Must have a driver licence with no more than 6 points for Speeding offences.

This role is mainly Warehouse with some delivery driving included.

Candidates when on call (2 people operation) will require to go to the warehouse pick the order and then deliver these to the client. Candidates will be briefed in more details during the process.

Start Date ASAP

• £26,000 per year
• Shifts can differ, anything from 06:00 - 18:00 (6am - 2pm or 10am -6pm)
• Can be on call 1 week out of 6 in the week, on call 1 week out of 3 on the weekends (very rarely you will be called out)

Any call out is at X1.5 of your hourly rate. You will not work the next day if called out but paid as normal.

All successful candidates must complete a 3 year Vetting process and require a DBS (paid by the client) The DBS must be clear and arrive before you can start. Candidate must have lived in the UK for at least the past 3 years. All Candidates must have a British passport or a dual British Passport for security clearance.
