Simple Recruitment are looking for a Yard Operative with a forklift or telehandler licence for our client based in the Barnstaple area to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.

What will you be doing:

• A forklift or telehandler licence is essential for this role.


• To load, unload and process recycling & refuse.


• To safely operate associated machinery.


• To assist with refuse, recycling and cleansing service delivery when required.


• To help ensure cleanliness, legal compliance and safe operation of depot.

Other bits you need to know:

The above is not a full list of duties undertaken but gives an indication of the varied roles available across the department. An induction and training at site will need to be attended before being put into a shift. You will need to be physically fit, punctual and reliable as you will be working as part of a team. Please note, this role requires the candidate to hold a forklift or telehandler license.

Hours:

7.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Thursday.

3.30pm, Fridays.

Saturdays only to be worked following a Bank Holiday.

Salary:

� 11.44 per hour.
