Temp - Perm / �16ph / 30 hours a week / Food Manufacturing Operative / Own Transport Required

We are pleased to be working with a prestigious food manufacturing based in the Essex Countryside - between Maldon and Tolleshunt D'Arcy.

Applicants need to be aware that this role will involve prolonged periods of manual handling and physical duties.

This role is a PERMANENT opportunity with the first 3 months working through Prime Appointments.

Own transport required due to location

Hours

• 6:30 am to 12:30 pm, 5 days a week - fixed days, may include a weekend day
• Applicants should be aware that this may change to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern

Duties of the Food Manufacturing Operative;

• Operating of the Production machine
• Visual quality checking of product
• Working to SOPs and site processes
• Completion of production paperwork
• Use of pallet truck and pump truck
• Set up of production machinery
• Undertaking heavy, physical production tasks
• Take reasonable and practical care of personal health and safety and of others
• This role will involve elements of housekeeping and hyigene - keeping all areas presentable

The Ideal Food Manufacturing Operative;

• Previous experience in Manufacturing and Production
• Able to undertake manual handling tasks
• Valid counterbalance forklift an advantage
• Own transport required
• Able to work in a team
• A positive "can-do" attitude
• A passion to grow and develop
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime
• Flexible approach to working days (able to work shifts if required)
