Food Safety Officer

My client based the Southeast is looking for a full-time Food Safety/Health & Safety Officer to join their team for a minimum 6 month period.

This contract is paid hourly rather than per inspection and they hope to get someone in for 37 hours per week.

The role is split between inspection,admin and follow-up work required. Therefore, there is little remote working offered.

Successful applicants will:

• Minimum 2-3 years food safety experience,
• Competent in C and D inspections,
• Meet the qualification criteria detailed in section 3.4.1 of the Food Law Code of Practice,
• Provide 2 years CPD,
• Completed the competency framework.

Start dates are as soon as possible but they can wait up to 4 weeks for the perfect candidate!
