Your Role: As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be instrumental in teaching students valuable culinary skills while supporting their emotional and behavioural development. Your responsibilities will include:




  • Educate and Inspire: Plan and deliver engaging food technology lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of our students.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with our therapy team and supportive leadership to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

  • Promote Life Skills: Encourage the development of functional life skills and emotional regulation through hands-on culinary activities.

  • Innovate: Develop and deliver outreach programmes that extend learning beyond the classroom and into the community.

Requirements:




  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
