Contract: Part time/Full Time

About the opportunity:

A secondary school in Iver is seeking a passionate and inspiring Food Technology Teacher to deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a love for cooking, encouraging creative expression, and helping students to develop their cooking skills and confidence.

Key responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver interactive lessons to small groups and classes
  • Work effectively with teachers to ensure lessons are engaging for all students
  • Ability to develop good relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the development of the art curriculum and department.
  • Participate in school events, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:


  • Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be working towards it (not mandatory unqualified teachers welcome to apply)
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
  • Have the desire to work in a demanding but rewarding school
