Forklift Driver and Yard Operative

Gap Personnel is partnering with a leading company in their field, located in Great Yarmouth, to recruit Forklift Drivers/Yard Operatives. This position offers a fantastic work environment with an inclusive culture, a modern facility complete with a canteen, rest areas, and various site benefits.

Pay Rate:

• Basic Pay: £12.28 per hour (Monday to Friday)
• Overtime Pay: £18.42 per hour after 40 hours

Normal Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (8 hours per day)

Duties Include:
This role is in a fast-paced environment where you may not spend all your time on the forklift. You will assist in various areas, including moving stock in bulk bags from production to the warehouse, so attention to detail is essential. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting a visual safety inspection of equipment before operation
• Packing and labeling finished goods for shipment
• Recording weights on production documentation and bulk bags
• Completing all related paperwork
• Taking on any additional duties as needed to support the business
