Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:30
Pay: From �13.00 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm
Pertemps is currently looking for a Forklift Driver to join our client on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently within the yard. If you hold an in-date Counterbalance licence, in-house training can be provided for Reach Truck operation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently within the yard. If you hold an in-date Counterbalance licence, in-house training can be provided for Reach Truck operation.
The Duties of a Forklift Driver:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and organise stock in the yard
- Load and unload deliveries with precision and care
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and in line with company procedures
- Carry out regular safety checks on the reach truck and report any issues
- Assist with general yard duties, including housekeeping and stock control
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Valid Forklift licence and experience
- Previous experience working as a Reach Truck Driver in a yard or warehouse desirable
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks when required
