Forklift Engineer

A global leading forklift business has a new opportunity for someone from the motor trade, agricultural, or plant industry who is looking for a career change, covering the Sheffield area. As a Field Forklift Engineer you will be responsible for:

• In control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of material handling equipment on various customer sites
• Working with an assortment of equipment including diesel, gas, and electric trucks
• Manage your own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately
• Required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately

To be successful in this Forklift Engineer role you will have:

• NVQ Level 3 Qualified
• Technical experience in engines, electrics (diagnostics), or hydraulics. This will include all engine types
• Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, HGV Technician, Agricultural Engineer, Plant Fitter, or Roadside Recovery
• IT Literate and comfortable using the latest technology
