About the Role
As a key member of the team, you will be working as a Forklift Engineer to provide repair and maintenance of Electric, LPG and Diesel forklifts and other material handling equipment. The Responsibilities include:
Managing workload and prioritising jobs according to customer demands and company targets.
Carrying out effective preventative maintenance to minimise unplanned breakdowns.
Carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems efficiently and effectively.
Completion and provision of company documentation and records as required by the company management system.
Communicating with customers to agree remedial actions where necessary
Using Laptop and PDA to identify parts required and communicate requirements to the office team.
About You
Are you a motivated Forklift Engineer? If this sounds like you, we really want to hear from you.
You will require to have the following skills:
Are a time served tradesperson in the engineering sector with minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications
Are skilled in mechanical and/or electrical engineering
Have the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships to provide excellent customer care.
Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Have a full UK driving License
