The role would suit a trained Car Mechanic/Vehicle Technician who has worked for a Car Dealership and looking to progress their career.
Responsibilities:
Servicing and repair of material handling equipment.
Ordering of parts as efficiently as possible & ensuring all stock levels/movement records are accurate & correct
Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately & within the stipulated time period & with the relevant order numbers
Manage own work-in-progress
Maintain a safe working environment & work in a safe manner
Report any unsafe practices or potential hazards immediately
To maintain familiarization with policies & procedures & adhere to these. E.g. IT Policy, absence policy, etc.
Attend training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 qualified in Plant, Vehicle Maintenance, or similar
Preferably served a full apprenticeship
Plant Fitters, FLT Engineers, Vehicle Technicians, HGV Technician or Ex forces will all be considered for this opportunity
Technical experience in Engines, Electrics, and Diagnostics is compulsory.
