Forklift Operator

Job Description

Overview:

We are looking for a experienced Forklift Driver / Dispatch Operative to join our client in Cardiff. Previous experience within a similar position and working with steel / within the metal industry would be an advantage. The role will be fast paced, loading / unloading up to 30 loads per shift, including abnormal length loads.

Duties:

- Stock rotation and control

- Communicate effectively with drivers and customers

- Forklift work, loading and unloading

- Palletising

- Keeping yard clean and tidy

- Ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods

- Maintain accurate records

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role as a forklift driver and/or dispatch operative

- Excellent communication skills to liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams

- Forklift or Combilift licence and experience

- Experience within the metal industry (desirable)

Must be able to work a 3 week rotation for Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts

Morning shift - Monday to Friday (Apply online only) £11.55 ph

Afternoon shift - Monday to Friday (Apply online only) £12.70 ph

Night shift - Sunday - Thursday (Apply online only) £15.00 ph
