Their team consists of committed digital health researchers, machine learning experts, and clinicians from leading institutions in academia and industry.​What you will be doingAs a Founding Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a platform for continuous patient engagement. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. You will collaborate closely with the ML team to integrate AI-driven features, ensure optimal application performance, and implement responsive frontend designs. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining application health, handling bugs, and improving user experience. Reporting directly to Leadership and engaging in collaborations among team members to meet ongoing goals will also be part of your role.What the company hiring is looking forA bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.At least 4 years of industry experience in full-stack development rolesProficiency in mobile app development for both iOS and Android platforms.Familiarity with frameworks like React, Node.js, and MongoDB,Experience with mobile app development tools such as Swift, Kotlin, and FlutterStrong expertise in continuously collecting smartphone sensor and metadataKnowledge in frontend design principles and best practicesA deep interest in building safe and reliable AI tools for real-world applicationsDesirableExperience in collaborating with researchers in an interdisciplinary setting,Previous work at an early-stage startupFamiliarity with deploying applications handling sensitive health-related data
