Hunter Douglas is looking for a technical FP&A Lead with a passion for systems, data architecture, and scalable automation. This role goes far beyond classic reporting—it's about building the infrastructure and tools that power modern, insight-led decision making. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial future, helping leaders across the division make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions.
You'll lead FP&A in a company that's exploring how big data, automation, and AI can elevate financial planning. Whether it's building predictive models, refining data pipelines, or embedding forecasting logic directly into tools, this role is designed for someone with technical competence and creative curiosity.
Key responsibilities:
Forecasting & Performance Insight
Lead and aggregate the Monthly Performance Review materials for the division, seeking input from commercial financial leads, operations and other functions for key inputs; set guidelines and instructions for all materials
Partner with department heads to develop cost plans, headcount forecasts, and investment strategies.
Build and maintain robust, scalable financial models to support scenario planning
Help lead our Zero Based Budgeting approach consistent with 3G-Capital methodology
Performance Analysis
Analyse monthly, quarterly, and YTD performance vs. budget, highlighting key variances.
Provide commercial insights to help senior leadership understand financial drivers.
Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor operational and financial performance.
Systems, Tools & Automation
Financial and non-financial database management, tool creation and provision for the UK division
Support integration of AI into forecasting processes
Own the design and enhancement of financial systems and data flows.
Automate manual reporting and data consolidation using SQL, Python, or relevant tools.
Collaborate with Data, Engineering, and Ops teams to ensure finance data integrity.
Business Partnering & Collaboration
Deliver insights that influence decision-making across sales, product, operations, and marketing.
Present financial analysis to leadership and the board in a clear, concise manner.
Interested in this role? Here's what we're looking for:
Preferably 6–8 years of experience overall, with at least 2 years in an FP&A, finance systems, or data-led role
A chartered accountant (or equivalent) with an atypical career path
Strong technical grounding: SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages
Experience working with large datasets, system integrations, and forecasting infrastructure
Familiarity with AI tools, automation, and next-gen financial planning models
Comfortable in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and financial systems
Project management experience a plus
