Summary of the role:
Management of Management Accountant and Finance Analyst
Responsible for pro-active cost management and P&L reporting.
Responsible for forecasting, budgeting and introducer profitability analysis.
Working collaboratively in the Finance team to challenge how things are done, improve processes and deliver automation where possible.
Support the Finance Manager where necessary.
Your key responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation of Month End reporting, working collaboratively with Financial Accountant, Credit Risk and MI.
Responsible for managing costs and working closely with the business departments to ensure adherence to the budget / forecast through monthly reviews.
Working closely with the Financial Accountant to ensure payments to third parties align with the cost management and PO process.
Responsible for the annual budget and quarterly forecast process, maintaining the models, inputs and assumptions.
Responsible for introducer profitability analysis, working closely with Risk and Operations to understand the key drivers and monitoring outcomes.
Support the Finance Manager and Financial Accountant with the external audit process and arising queries.
Challenge existing processes and look to automate processes to improve control and drive efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
Systems knowledge : Knowledge of PanCredit, CODA, Sage Intacct and SAS would be advantageous.
Skills: Collaborative, Good Communicator, Strong Excel Skills
Attitude: Positive, proactive and a change advocate looking to improve the way things are done. Looking to add value and willing to develop and progress.
Training and Education
Experienced and Qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
