Blair West is supporting PE-Backed multi-utility company Everflow as they look to bring in an FP&A Manager with a clear pathway for career progression in a newly-created role.� This role will expose you to strategic projects with the backing of the senior leadership team.





The opportunity:






  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives and providing detailed financial plans.

  • Develop robust financial models to support business cases, scenario planning, and long-term growth strategies.

  • Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights through variance analysis, KPI tracking, and risk assessment.

  • Present financial data to senior leadership, driving decision-making with accurate, data-driven reporting and strategic recommendations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally, partnering with departments across the business to deliver financial support for operational and strategic initiatives.

  • Enhance financial reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of data.

  • Lead the FP&A function for Everflow, holding the responsibility of recruiting and developing the FP&A team.

  • Support the Head of Finance in ad-hoc financial analysis, board reporting, and strategic planning.





You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:






  • A qualification in� ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

  • Proven expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and produce actionable insights.

  • Experience with Financial Management systems and tools (e.g. SAGE Intacct, Power BI), with advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Exceptional communication skills to convey financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

  • The ability to demonstrate that you have a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for driving business performance.

  • Experience in the utilities or telecoms industry is a plus, though not essential.
