Harmonic is delighted to be working exclusively with a rapidly scaling and Venture Capital backed SaaS Tech Scale-up in their search for a Fractional Finance Director for 3 days per week for an initial 6-month contract, with the likelihood of extending to a full-time permanent position in the New Year. This role will sit Outside IR35.

The Client

Our client is fast becoming a renowned brand within the SaaS & Tech sector and has recently received significant funding from renowned Venture Capital to enable them to expand at a rapid pace.

\n

With an international presence in the UK, US and Europe, and after a sustained period of scale, our client requires a controls focussed Finance Director who can help guide the finance function and add value from primarily finance operational perspective. The culture is very typical of a 'start-up'; dynamic and non-corporate. They are happy for this individual to work on a remote basis with occasional travel to one of the office locations.

The Role

\n

As Fractional Finance Director, you will report directly into the CFO, your main responsibilities will be leading the finance function from a Financial Controls & systems perspective. You'll oversee the work of a US and UK based Financial Controller - ensuring correct transfer pricing, managing the international entities (3 entities, UK, Europe and US) and ensuring there is consolidation across all areas. There will also potentially be ad-hoc projects around automating billing, data integrity and driving improvements from a systems perspective.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organisation in the next stage of their growth journey. With future progression for it to become a full-time role on a permanent basis after an initial contract.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth running of the finance function
\n
• Overseeing international entities, including UK, Europe & US.
\n
• Effectively manage the Transfer Pricing.
\n
• Provide support and oversight on the work of a US based and UK based Financial Controller.
\n
• Act as a key liaison between the CEO and Finance.
\n
• Drive efficiencies in processes and systems.
\n
• Ensure a robust and rigorous financial controls environment.
\n
• Ad-hoc support to the CFO on various projects

Essential Experience

\n

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
\n
• US entity experience
\n
• Strong experience around transfer pricing
\n
• SaaS experience
\n

\n

Bonus Experience

\n

\n
• Experience implementing new finance system (ideally NetSuite)
\n

\n

Location: London or Remote

\n

Day Rate: £650-800 (Outside IR35)

\n

Length of Contract: 6 months
