We're looking for a Framework Manager to join our Natural Resources team, within a commutable distance to Falmer. In this role you'll be framework lead on the mobilisation and ongoing operations of our new 7 year, c£1bn framework with Southern Water.
 


Location: Falmer, East Sussex


Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know


 


Responsibilities


As a Framework Manager you'll provide strategic framework management and oversight of design and build activity across the Southern Water portfolio of non-infrastructure, water and wastewater projects. Services covering the counties of Kent, Sussex and Hampshire, including the Isle of Wight.



Your day to day will include:



  • Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with the client to ensure their needs are met, whilst developing and leading project teams to deliver successful projects, enhancing the Southern Water and Kier values.

  • Financial monitoring and control of the design and build contracts, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance in accordance with Kier's Operating Framework, Project Lifecycle Management, and IMS.

  • Ensuring projects are programmed in P6 to a level of detail necessary for operational teams to deliver the projects and that the programmes are contractually compliant.

  • Identify opportunities to improve contractual processes and devise plans to implement these changes.

  • Ensuring and overseeing the production of progress reports, updated costs and forecasts and ensuring correct commercial engagement of subcontractors.


What are we looking for?



This role of Framework Manager is great for you if:



  • You're a senior specialist with proven experience in a similar role within the utilities, infrastructure or built environment sector.

  • A senior manager with full understanding of health and safety legislation, including HSWA and CDM Regulations.

  • You have excellent NEC3/NEC4 contractual and commercial awareness.

  • Hold a degree relating to the industry and a chartered status or appropriate professional qualification.
