Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a large national civil engineering main contractor for a 4-6 month contract around the Liverpool area.

They're nearing the last phases of a large multi-million � highways improvement scheme they've been delivering.�The role of this SQS on such a temporary basis is to work towards agreeing final accounts and organise�commercially to a point where they can close out the project. It is an NEC Target Cost project so experience with NEC Option C is absolutely necessary.

Duties:

• Cost reports


• Provide advice & guidance to commercial team


• Liaison with Senior Commercial team


• Liaison with client


• Early warnings, contract changes, compensation events


• Organise & agree final accounts

Experience Required:

• Must have experience working as Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor for a Civil Engineering main contractor


• Must have experience with NEC Option C


• Must have relevant vocational qualification or degree

Remuneration:

On offer is a day rate of up to �450 per day (doe).

Can be paid outside IR-35.
