Freelance Site Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Site Engineer on behalf of a reputable civil engineering sub-contractor who're delivering a civils & groundworks package�on a new build school project near Halifax.

The initial contract is running until April 2025�with likely�further extension for the right person due to strong regional workload. The scope of works includes:�new drainage, car park & externals, road entrances, ducting, hard landscaping,�footpaths etc.

Responsibilities�include:

• Setting out & surveying - using relevant kit


• As-built surveys


• QA


• Amend 2d & 3d drawings & models as needed


• Updating site specific documentation


• Management of direct labour

Experience required:

• Candidates should have proven experience as�Site Engineer�on groundworks / general civil engineering projects


• Must be strong with setting out & QA


• Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license


• HNC / HND or Degree beneficial

Remuneration:

A rate of up to �320�per day (doe). Either paid CIS or LTD outside IR-35.
