Freight Forwarder

The OSP Group are currently recruiting for a Freight Forwarder on behalf of one of our longest standing clients based in Stowmarket, Suffolk.

This client has shown incredible growth year on year and is not showing any signs of stopping as they are now looking to expand their team by adding an experienced freight forwarder to add value to their already incredible team.

Our client specializes in shipping goods to Amazon FBA warehouses worldwide, D2C shipping, kitting, unloading containers and managing customer returns. Our client has a large client base who mainly operate mainly on Amazon, Shopify and other e-commerce platforms so experience working within these platforms would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Freight Forwarder or in a similar logistics role.

• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and procedures.

• Proactive, forward-thinking, and dynamic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

• Commercially minded with a strong understanding of cost-effective shipping strategies.

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Flexibility to handle changing priorities and meet deadlines.

Pay Scale:

�35,000 - �40,000 DOE

Working hours:

08:30 - 17:00
