Freight Forwarder

Brook Street is working with our logistics client in Belfast to recruit a new member of staff for their client operations department.
Main purpose of job is operational control of client shipments from booking, loading and despatch as per client customer profiles.
Duties

• Updating client software systems - SAP
• Place export booking with shipping lines to meet specific target ETA's
• Shipment tracking on various websites.
• Applications for veterinary certificates
• Completion of shipping/bill of lading instructions to shipping lines both manually and on-line
• Complete export customs declarations
• Entering jobs onto company computer system.
• Maintaining accurate records & spreadsheet's

Criteria:

• 2-3 Years Freight Forwarding experience
• Computer literacy, Microsoft Office or similar
• Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
• Ability to work within set KPI's
• Accuracy & attention to detail

Working hours will be 9.00am to 5.15pm - Full Time - 36.25 Hrs
