Job Title: Multimodal Team Lead/ Supervisor/ Manager (Imports & Exports)

Location: Oldbury, UK

Salary: �30,000 - �40,000
Job Summary:

The Senior Multimodal individual will manage, lead and coordinate the team to import and export of goods across various transport modes, including air, sea, and road. The role involves ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics operations while maintaining strong relationships with clients, carriers, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the full cycle of import and export shipments across multiple transport modes (air, sea, road).


• Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers, ensuring the best possible prices and service levels.


• Handle all necessary documentation for customs clearance, compliance, and shipment tracking.


• Liaise with clients, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.


• Provide accurate quotations and pricing for shipments.


• Resolve any issues related to shipments, including delays, damages, and customer queries.


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international shipping regulations and industry trends.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a senior multimodal freight forwarding role, with a focus on both imports and exports.


• Strong understanding of customs procedures and international shipping regulations.


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.


• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.


• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office.
