My client is an international leader in nuclear energy with a strong reputation for innovative solutions and high-value technologies. They are currently working on a number of industry leading power generation projects and as such as are looking to expand their talent team here.
The role of the French speaking Deputy Group Leader sits within the Manufacturing Control department working specifically on their HPC project. The purpose of this role is primarily to assist the Manager/Group Leader of the UK Manufacturing Control team.
This permanent role is offered from their Bristol site (hybrid working basis) with regular travel in the UK (couple of times each month) and occasionally in France (Paris).
You will be responsible for:
- Performing the operational management of Technical Assistance contracts and services
- Internal control and monitoring of the team activities:
- Providing support to the UK Manufacturing Control pilots for the assignment of inspection resources
- Internal managerial representation
- Propositions of business development, and identifying strategic opportunities
You will have:
- Fluent French language skills
- Management skills: an already acquired and successful experience is team leading/management (preferable), otherwise to be able to demonstrate such skills
- Knowledge in equipment procurement contracts for nuclear projects (HPC preferably)
- Good technical competencies in mechanical engineering, materials, welding
- Advanced knowledge in the manufacturing of equipment/parts, as well as in Quality and/or Surveillance
- Experience in the management/coordination of contracts for technical assistance
- Ability to cope in a multi-interfaced and changing environment, and to manage the interactions within a multi-disciplinary team
