Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate French teacher to teach KS4 students, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire a love for the French language and culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse abilities of students, ensuring they achieve excellent academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective French lessons to KS4 students.


• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.


• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.


• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.


• Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Degree in French or a related subject.


• Proven experience teaching French at the KS4 level.


• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.


• A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
