Front End Developer

Hays Software Engineering are looking for a Front End Developer to join an innovative subsidiary of a large Insurance business.
What you will be doing:

• Design intuitive, engaging, and functional front-end user interfaces using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Transform these designs into polished, interactive UI components.
• Work closely with product managers and back-end developers to deliver cohesive and efficient user experiences.
• Build front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, integrating them with back-end systems.
• Manage the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Optimise interfaces for accessibility, performance, and compatibility across different browsers.
• Perform user testing and refine designs based on feedback and usability insights.
• Keep pace with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI design and front-end development.

What we are looking for:

• Hands-on experience with cutting-edge front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Demonstrated expertise in roles like UX/UI Developer or Front-End Developer.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UX principles, interaction design techniques, and accessibility standards.
• Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD, with a strong understanding of design-to-code processes.
