Front of House Manager - Student Accommodation



Salary - �31,000 + bonus



High end Student Accommodation



Location: Nottingham



As the Front of House Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of the high end�student accommodation facility. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to students, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the premises, and assisting with various administrative tasks.



Responsibilities:



Customer Service:




  • Greet and assist students and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

  • Maintain a welcoming environment and address any concerns or complaints with empathy and efficiency.



Housekeeping and Maintenance:




  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.

  • Perform cleaning duties as needed, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing common areas and student rooms.

  • Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate repairs with appropriate staff or contractors.



Administration:




  • Assist with administrative tasks such as processing rental applications, managing room bookings, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely manner.

  • Maintain inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.



Health and Safety Compliance:




  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety protocols and evacuation procedures.

  • Conduct regular checks of fire alarms, extinguishers, and other safety equipment.

  • Promote a culture of safety awareness among students and staff.



Qualifications




  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
