Futureheads are partnering with an innovator in the self development and healing industry. Our client comprises of an online learning platform, leading health clinic, therapist training programme, along with the ground-breaking therapy YouTube series.Role:As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing front-end solutions aimed at optimising user experiences and maximising conversion rates. You will work closely with a small but effective cross-functional team to build cross-browser interfaces that improve user engagement and drive desired actions.As a full stack engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications and system. Your primary focus will be on backend development using PHP and the Laravel framework, while also contributing to front-end tasks as needed. You will collaborate with a small but effective cross-functional team and should enjoy delivering robust, scalable, and high-performant products.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP and Laravel.Implement and optimise database structures, queries, and performance.Collaborate with front-end development to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the stack.Ensure code quality, security, and best practices are maintained.Lead and mentor junior developers if required, providing guidance and support.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive and innovative.Experience Required:Solid experience in backend development, with a strong emphasis on PHP and Laravel.Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Eloquent).Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Nice to haves:Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, NPM).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.Knowledge of agile development methodologies.Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 p/aLocation: Hybrid, London Unfortunately this position does not provide sponsorship.
