A leading digital agency based in Liverpool are on the lookout for a talented Full-Stack PHP Developer to join their team
They work on a variety of different projects, from large custom ecommerce builds for multinationals, to mobile apps and high traffic booking systems. They are fortunate to work with various pieces of tech, but their core stack for new builds consists of Laravel (sometimes with Statamic), Vue and Tailwind. They also have plenty of projects in WordPress and a few in Drupal, with some older projects using Bootstrap
As a developer, you’ll have the opportunity to work on new technologies and a number of exciting projects
Skills - Essential
At least 3 years commercial experience working within a busy digital agency.
Experience in a mainstream PHP MVC framework. We use Laravel primarily
Understanding of frontend technologies as Vue and Tailwind
Understanding of workflows with technologies such as Webpack and Vite
An understanding of Cloud architecture and how to develop for scale, ideally with
AWS experience (not a deal breaker)
Your Key Responsibilities
Work within the development team to understand a client scope document and be given tasks to bring this to life. You’ll be expected to own your tasks but to also speak up when you aren't sure about something (with the help of our project management, and account management teams, and with support from other developers)
Implement smaller projects either standalone or within existing projects. For example, implementing Klarna into a customer e-commerce experience
Work on our clients’ monthly retainer work
Put forward ideas for new technology or ways to improve existing and future projects
Work with our other teams, especially digital marketing and design, to ensure their solutions are viable
