Furniture Assembly Operative, Woodwork, Tools, Stoke to �22,500
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Furniture Assembly Operative to join one of the world leading leisure and manufacturing brands. They are looking for a Furniture Operative to work within a team to effectively manufacture casino furniture and support the Team Leader to ensure products are to the required quality standards and delivered on time.
Responsibilities and Duties
- General understanding of drawings and assembly instructions
- Knowledge of wood, MDF, plywood, metal and textile component assembly
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail����������
- Manufacture and assembly of high-quality products����������������
- Laminating Product
- Using hand-held tools
- Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision
- Produce products with a high degree of accuracy
- Interpret scheduled documentation���
- Adhere and promote your awareness to all health & safety rules
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Experience of working with wood and wood manufacturing is an advantage
- Joinery experience
- Level 2 or above qualification in bench joinery or similar
- CNC operating experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to use woodworking machinery including saws, drills, routers and planers
- Good communication ( written and verbal)
- Working within a continuous improvement environment
- Problem solving and creativity
- Working to high quality and compliance
- Flexibility
