Responsibilities of a Supervisor:

• Oversee daily retail operations of the garden centre, ensuring high standards of customer service and product presentation.
• Supervise and support staff, providing training and guidance to enhance team performance.
• Manage inventory levels and assist with stock ordering and merchandising.
• Engage with customers to provide expert advice and recommendations on plants, gardening supplies, and services.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Experience and background:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably within a retail or garden centre environment.
• Strong knowledge of plants and gardening practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage a team effectively.
