Gardener

One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Gardener�on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.

Overview:

• To carry out maintenance of horticultural features and amenities within the City.

Responsibilities:

• To undertake grass cutting duties using hand propelled and/or where appropriate self propelled machines


• To undertake shrub bed maintenance work using a range of basic gardening tools.


• To maintain sports pitches and bowling greens


• To undertake a range of general duties associated with grounds maintenance work, including occasional litter picking, digging and other physical labour.
