They specialise in commodity trading including: oil, carbon credits, metals, agricultural products, soft commodities, and energy. My client has been operational for two years and is now looking to expand their risk management capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the firm s risk management framework and supporting its growth. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze risk across multiple commodity desks, notably Gas and Power. Provide detailed risk assessments and reporting to support traders and the CIO. Develop and implement risk management tools and processes. Collaborate with traders to understand their positions and potential risk exposures. Conduct high-level portfolio analysis and identify potential risk scenarios. Requirements: 3-7 years of experience in commodities and risk management. experience working on risk within both Gas and Power Hands-on experience in risk reporting and tool development. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced trading environment.
