Job description


Due to continued growth, Our client is looking for a Gas Engineer, Plumber or Heat Pump Technician to join the team.

You will be installing, servicing and maintaining a wide variety of domestic gas and renewable energy systems, whilst maintaining high standards, customer satisfaction, self-motivation and health and safety.

Responsibilities and expectations:


  • Install/replace/service domestic gas & heat pump systems.
  • Diagnose gas and renewable systems, aiming for a first-time fix.
  • Service gas and renewable systems aim to lengthen the life span of the system.
  • Ensuring workmanship is of the highest quality and in line with customer regulations.
  • Obtain high levels of self-motivation to complete workload in required time frames.
  • Good attitude towards work.

Experience and requirements for the role:


  • As an experienced and confident domestic gas engineer, you will have the necessary Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, HTR1, CENWAT, ACS,
  • Unvented Hot & Cold Water Systems are desirable but not essential
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working within the domestic gas field, including 1st & 2nd fixing.
  • Experience installing/servicing Air Source heat pumps, preferred but not essential.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Full and clean driving licence
  • IT competent
  • Be able to pass a DBS check

Salary package:

Experience:


  • Domestic gas: 5 years (Required)
  • Heat pump: 2 years (Preferred but not essential - full training will be given)
