Description:
Our client Consilium Contracting Services are an extremely fast-paced 24/7 multi-trade contracting company, based in Paisley but operating throughout Western and Central Scotland. They work in social housing and private domestic homes, delivering all types of gas/plumbing maintenance, installations, and repairs.
They are looking to add another fully qualified but experienced gas reactive repairs plumber to the team, with the potential to develop into a working supervisor. Ideally, the individual will be familiar with social housing and private domestic work. Experience in maintenance and reactive plumbing, gas boiler installation/servicing, gas fault finding, and general property plumbing/gas refurb upgrades is essential.
The role involves traveling throughout the West Coast of Scotland, and occasionally the Central Belt/East Coast of Scotland. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Social Housing: Void property upgrades (mainly plumbing works, but assistance to other trades may be required), reactive plumbing repairs, plumbing upgrades and installations to homes, and respite/care facilities.

Private Homes: Gas boiler installations, gas boiler servicing and repairs, gas fault finding, radiator installations (new/existing), heating system power flushes, cylinders, expansion vessels, new heating system installs, smart thermostat installations, and similar tasks.

General Plumbing: All types of plumbing work including bathroom and kitchen refurbishments, ensuite upgrades, medical adaptations, and general plumbing installations (WCs, baths, etc.).

Please Note: There will be times when you will need to work outside regular hours to ensure the job is completed and customers are not left without essential services. An on-call rota (approximately 1 in 4) is in place for this role, with appropriate remuneration.
They request that you work your 8 hours per day in full, as start and finish times will be monitored. Please be ethical and moralwork your 8 hours per day, ensuring a fair days pay for a fair days work.
