Gas Supervisor

A highly respected social housing contractor is looking for an experienced Gas Supervisor�to join their established team in North Birmingham. For this position you must have previous experience working on domestic projects.

Role and responsibilities:

• �Ensure the safe and efficient servicing, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial properties.


• Supervise and manage a team of operatives across all trades.


• �Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of gas appliances and heating systems.


• �Perform repairs and maintenance to maintain optimal performance and adhere to safety standards.


• Respond quickly to emergency repair requests, troubleshooting issues effectively.


• �Keep precise records of work completed, including parts used and time spent.


• �Communicate with clients and tenants to explain necessary work and offer maintenance advice.


• �Participate in an on-call rota to handle out-of-hours breakdowns as needed.

Requirements:

• Gas Safe registered (Gas Safe ID)


• NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications in gas engineering (at least level 3)


• Proven experience in gas appliance installation, maintenance, and repair, minimum 2 years


• Full UK driving license


• Prior experience in a similar role within the construction or property maintenance industry


• Additional qualifications in plumbing or heating systems


• Ideally a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
