Position: Gas Suppression Installation engineer

Location: Nationwide

Position: Permanent

Salary: From £35,000 to £38,000 + Door to door on everything over 40 hours. 1.5 x + Bonus for weekend work (£200 - £250) + Transit Van + Fuel card + Premier Inn card + £25 food allowance + £20 per night away bonus + Nest Pension + 20 days holiday and statutory.

Due to sustained growth and increasing demand, we are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Sprinkler Engineer, Pipe Fitter, or Gas Suppression Engineer to join our installation team.

Responsibilities:


  • Install gas suppression systems, including piping, storage cylinders, control panels, and discharge nozzles, ensuring all components are properly configured and secured.Ensure compliance with BSEN(phone number removed) regulations.
  • Interpret and follow engineering blueprints, technical specifications, and project plans to ensure accurate installation according to design requirements.
  • Work as part of a wider team to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Ensure all documentation, including operation manuals, safety information, and certification paperwork, is properly completed and handed over to the client.

Requirements


  • Strong working background as a Mechanical Gas Suppression Engineer
  • Alternative experience as a sprinkler engineer or Pipe fitter will be considered.
  • Training with FM200, Inert and Chemical gases, Kentec and kitchen suppression (training in all is preferred not required).
  • 5 years’ experience within fire suppression is desired but they will consider profiles with 3+ years
  • Flexible with travel and overnight stays (Can be up to 14 nights away on average per project).
  • Hunger to learn and develop your skillset further.
  • Able to pass a BPSS background check due to the nature of the projects.
  • A Full UK Driving License.
