An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Gate Automation Engineer to join a well-established company





Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.



Salary: �38,000 - �42,000 Per Annum, OTE �40,000 to �60,000 + Average of 20 Hours Overtime Per Week.



Location: Basildon (but also covering Northampton to Southampton but most work is in London and the Home Counties)



Schedule: 40 hours a week Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work offered but not mandatory.



Benefits: 23 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays + Pension + Company Van.

Role & Requirements:





This is an excellent opportunity for an Automated Gate Service Engineer to join a rapidly expanding business, where you will hold a position of genuine influence within the business. Due to internal movements the right candidate will also have the opportunity to progress to a managerial role.





The successful candidate must have previous experience working in the Automated Gates industry. You will have previous experience of fault diagnosis, repair, service, upgrades, and installation work on automated gates. The role itself is widely varied, you will cover a patch from Northampton to Southampton and the Home Counties but no stay away is required. Your day-to-day tasks will usually include reactive maintenance, routine maintenance, quoted works, and safety upgrades; you will typically be working on swing gates, barriers, sliding gates, primarily on properties through property management companies. Your work will routinely be mechanical and basic low voltage electrical






  • Covering a patch from Northampton to Southampton and the Home Counties; no stay away

  • Reactive and routine maintenance

  • Quoted works, safety upgrades

  • Working in schools and domestic properties

  • Recommend suitable repairs or upgrades to allow for accurate estimating by the office

  • Accurately record information on the relevant documentation, including service sheets; force tests

  • Work in a logical and efficient manner to the highest quality possible

  • Ensure communication is timely, clear, concise and in the appropriate manner
