GDPR Officer

We’re seeking a Temporary GDPR Officer for a further education provider in Grimsby.
This role is to ensure they remains fully compliant with GDPR and UK data protection laws. It is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of GDPR regulations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to advise and train staff on data protection best practices.
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee GDPR compliance, ensuring all processes meet legal requirements.

• Advise staff on their data protection responsibilities.
\n
• Monitor compliance, conduct audits, and provide training.
\n
• Support and oversee Data Protection Impact Assessments.
\n
• Be the first point of contact for GDPR, Subject Access Requests, and Freedom of Information queries.
\n
• Help improve data collection, storage, and processing procedures across departments.
\n

You must have experience working with GDPR and have completed any relevant qualifications or training.
This will be working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday with a salary dependent on experience.
