General Foreman

We are working with a regional contractor who are recruiting a General Foreman for work in the Wessex region. The General Foreman will join an established team on projects involving complex pipework, deep drainage, shafts, pipelines, sustainable drainage and reinforced concrete structures.�

The role will suit an experienced General Foreman as well as a Ganger or Supervisor looking to progress. It is not essential you have water experience but a good background in civil engineering and drainage is essential.

General Foreman duties:

• Complete plant requisitions, off-hiring plant and subcontractors when required


• Ensure work is being completed in accordance to the RAMS


• Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks


• Lead by example promoting health, safety, quality and environment.


• Complete site diary and allocation sheets
